'Why Year 12?’ is a short publication which includes 24 inspiring stories about people from South West Victoria who have pursued a variety of interesting pathways into their careers.  It aims to inspire young people, their families and carers and to guide them in thinking about what education and career pathways they might like to follow.

‘Why Year 12?’ shows readers that no matter what it is that they want to do, there is a pathway to get them there. It talks about the importance of completing a Year 12 or equivalent qualification and provides some handy information about the different ways that Year 12 or its equivalent can be achieved.

Printed copies of ‘Why Year 12?’ are being distributed to all Grade 5 and 6 students in schools in the Colac-Otway, Corangamite, Moyne and Warrnambool Local Government Areas. They are also available for pick-up at the South West LLEN Warrnambool office (3 Gilles St, Warrnambool).
